The HydroFloss Is The Best Oral Irrigator For Your Dental Health

In fact, it is one of the best tools that you can use overall.

You should, of course, always get your regular checkups and cleanings at your dentist's office.   Those are  very important.  Those visits are the ground.

Here is the deal.  What you do at home every day is the most important thing.   You can ask any  dental professional.  They know that what you do at home has the most impact on your dental health.  Don't lose site of that.

Why is what you do at home so important to you?

A large part of the dental health problems that people encounter such as cavities, gum disease, and even bad breath have a lot to do with anaerobic bacteria.

These bacteria must have a protective film against oxygen or they cannot grow and multiple.  You have heard the terms related to this film before:  Plaque and Tartar.

Researchers figured out a long time ago that you have to mechanically disrupt that plaque on a daily basis.   If you are able to keep it disrupted there is no way for the layer to form for a long enough period of time for those bacteria to multiply to any significant extent.

Since plaque disruption is necessary on a daily basis, what you do at home has a major impact on your dental health overall, in most cases.

In The Case Of Gum Disease

For gum disease, when the bacteria populations grow too large they start to cause destruction to the tissue and bone surrounding each tooth.   When they cause enough destruction, you will see receding gums.

When they go beyond that, teeth can become loose and need to be pulled or fall out.   This is something that can be avoided if you manage to keep that plaque disrupted on a regular basis.

This becomes more complicated because the plaque and tartar can start to form UNDER the gumline where it is difficult for you to get to it.

Here is the objective way to figure out where you are at with that.    There is a special measurement called periodontal pocket depths.   Your dentist or hygienist can take them and should be taking them on every office visit.

Generally speaking,  if the pocket depths are 3mm or less, most dental practitioners would say that your gums are healthy.

On the other hand, generally speaking again, if those depths are deeper than 3mm, most dental practitioners will say that you have a problem.

Keeping your gums healthy becomes a matter of keeping that pocketing to correct levels.  This is as close as you can come to an objective guage for your gum health.

Why Is The Hydro Floss The Best ?

The Hydro Floss is very good at reducing plaque and tartar buildup between office visits.  When real researchers did real studies published in the Journal of Clinical Periodontology,  they found that the Hydro Floss was about (not exact) 50% better than other irrigators at reducing the plaque and tartar that builds up between your regular dental cleanings.

It's not hard to understand from there, is it?     If you have questions, do call the number at the top of your screen.

What Makes The Hydro Floss Special?

Answer:  The hydro floss has a special way to decrease the amount of tartar and plaque build up between your regular dental cleanings and checkups that seems to exceed the ability of other oral irrigators.

This was validated in two peer reviewed journal studies.   This means that the research was performed by professional researchers and the results passed  the scrutiny of 'peer review'.

Peer review means that other scientists and researches looked at the results and the methodology of the studies to insure that they were scientifically sound and that the conclusions were correctly reached.

The amount of reduction appears to exceed that of 'regular' irrigators by around 50%.  Therefore, you get superior results from the Hydro Floss.  This is why the Hydro Floss is special.

What Should I Use In My Hydro Floss?

Answer

There is no need to use anything at all in your HydroFloss, besides regular tap water.

But some people really like the idea of having something.

Click here for things you can use to add to your Hydro Floss.

Tap water is suggested.   This is because there are minerals in the tap water.   The magnetic technology of the Hydro Floss acts on those minerals.

This is why distilled water is NOT suggested.

A better question is:  How do I get the most out of my Hydro Floss.

You can get that answer here.

10 reasons to own a hydrofloss1. You like your teeth and you would like to maximize your chances of keeping them (or those that are left) for the rest of your life.

2.  Scaling and Root Planing (Deep Cleanings) Cost around $1500  for your whole mouth and you still have to recover after the anesthetic wears off.   In addition, they may need to be done again in a year or three. You would like to reduce your chances of having to deal with 'all that'.

3.  The cost of a single implant is usually about $2000 or more.   I once spoke to a man who told me he had just spent $26,000 on his "new" teeth.

4.  A single gum graft can run about $500 - $800 or more.

5. There is no substitute for your own, natural teeth.

6.  You simply cannot afford big dental bills.  Of course, you should always be under the care of a dentist and you should always go to your regular checkups and cleanings.   But what if it were possible to prevent the more expensive problems?

7.  Gum disease is the number one cause of tooth loss.

8.  75% of people have gum disease.  Brushing and flossing may not be enough to prevent it, because I'm pretty sure that  more than 25% of people brush and floss.

9.  You hate painful experiences that cost you money and time to recover.

10.  You love your family!  Because a single Hydro Floss can help everyone in the family!  Of course, everyone uses their own tip in that scenario.  The Hydro Floss comes with 4 and you can always get more rather inexpensively.

HydroFloss - They Had Those In The '70s Right?

Answer:  No,  and they are not like the irrigators of the seventies or even like other machines of more recent decades.  The HydroFloss became available in the late 80s.

And it is VERY different,  Find Out Why.......

It can be said to be more effective, this link explains why.    And that is not just a 'little' bit more effecive, it is somewhere around 50% more effective than other oral irrigators.

What if you could help to protect yourself against the need for costly dental treatments like SRPs (deep cleanings),  lost teeth,  gum surgeries and more?

This is information on :  how to effectively use your Hydro Floss.

So what do you think?  Is it the same?  I'd have to say it is not the same thing at all.

Each person would be doing themselves a favor by knowing about (more importantly- using) the Hydro Floss.

HydroFloss Plus Tongue Scrapers Combo

hydrofloss tongue cleaners
You can now find a brand new HydroFloss plus three tongue scrapers in one bundled package here.

If you have been wondering what a Hydro Floss is and why it is important to you, I believe it is one of the most powerful tools you can utilize to help improve your dental health and avoid costly treatments.

The enemy is plaque, everyone probably knows that.  Brushing and flossing are very important and we should keep on doing them.  Yet, dental professionals know that a lot of people have either some or a lot of gum disease.

Therefore, wouldn't it be correct to say that something more is needed for many people?   That's where I think the Hydro Floss comes in.   You would use it in addition to your regular brushing and flossing.

But it is fairly easy and quick to use.   You can irrigate your mouth with one reservoir in about 2 minutes and ten seconds on the highest setting.

When the tissue is diseased, your gums will be tender and you will want to use a lower setting. My experience was that as my gums became healthier I was able to turn it up to the full setting!   My dentist verified that my gums where healthier and that I managed to escape a scaling and root planing treatment - also known as a 'deep cleaning'.

I was very happy.   The Hydro Floss has proven itself to be a helpful ally in this modern world of unhealthy foods and beverages.  You have to do something to tip the odds in favor of your dental health, at least I think so!

So, why not try out the Hydro Floss today.   See what it can do for you!

Can The Hydro Floss Help Your Gums To Stop Bleeding?

Answer:   First,  if your gums are bleeding that is most often a sign of gum disease.  Go to a periodontist if you are already not under the care of one.   Be under the care of your dentist for this problem.

Step 1:  Ask your dentist or periodontist what your periodontal pocket depths are.

        a.  Generally speaking, anything above 3mm is considered unhealthy

        b.  Your dentist or hygienist should have these numbers.  You will use these numbers to compare your results after step 2.

Step 2:  Before proceeding, ask your dentist if this is ok to try.   Then, Use the Hydro Floss for 30 Days

        a.  Use the Hydro Floss twice per day.

        b.  Use two full reservoirs per use.

Step 3.  After the 30 days of following step 2,  ask your dentist or hygienist to measure your periodontal pocket depths again.

        a.  Have they improved?   Great, keep going!

        b.  Have they all shrunk to 3mm or below?  That is even better!  Generally speaking, most dental professionals will say that your gums are healthy at this point.  Verify with your doctor.

Finished!

The Hydro Floss Has Been Studied and Peer Reviewed - And What Does That Mean?

Hydro floss has been peer reviewed and validated to do more
A customer I talked to told me that she was drawn to the HydroFloss because of the peer reviewed studies.

She went on to say that she understood what that meant while a lot of other people do not.
Then it struck me:  I should help people understand what that means because it is really a super important distinction to make.

You see, many companies put out their own studies.   And they are worth, well, about what they are worth.  I won't say more about that.

But, The Hydro Floss studies were done by true, professional researchers.   Peer review means that other scientists and researchers looked over the study and its results and made a determination about the studies authenticity and whether it should be published or not.

This is a HUGE difference when compared to companies that do a study on their own product.   I think  its obvious, right?   You want the results in published in the peer reviewed journal - because they are inherently a LOT more trustworthy!

I think that explains the difference.   The Hydro Floss has been shown in two separate peer reviewed and published studies -  The Journal of Clinical Periodontology  to reduce more plaque and tartar build up between regular office cleanings than irrigators that do not use its magnetic technology.
The difference was statistically significant,  and was around 45-50% greater results in both studies.

I hope this explains whey the HydroFloss is the best oral irrigator, the best water flosser and is absolutely the irrigator that you want to be using!

HydroFloss Question My HydroFloss Doesn't Turn On. Do I Need A New One?

I received a call from a nice lady named Phyllis today and she had a question about her Hydro Floss.

HydroFloss Question : My HydroFloss Doesn't Turn On.  Do I Need A New One?

She asked me if she needs a New Hydro Floss.   I asked her what was wrong.  She said that it doesn't turn on.

Answer :

I asked her to take her Hydro Floss to another electrical outlet in another room.  She turned on the switch - and it worked!

If the fuse triggers on your bathroom outlet, this can happen.

So,  be sure to take it to another room and try it out before deciding it is broken.    Phyllis told me she has had hers for four years.  Maybe she will get even more use out of it.

She told me how much she likes it and how it really helps her to keep things clean!

HydroFloss Review - Keeps Gums Healthy And Clean

Hydro Floss Review Keeps Gums Healthy

Dana Writes (HydroFloss Review posted on January 5th 2013 to the site) :

" This is my second Hydro Floss. The first was purchased from my dentist in 1999. It worked great up to December 2012.  This is an amazing device that keeps my gums healthy and teeth clean. The only downside that I observed is that it's louder than my first unit."

Thanks for letting us know about your Hydro Floss Experience Dana.

I'm glad that you feel it is doing a great job for your dental health.

I would like to address the issue of the 'loudness'.   This is very easy to deal with.  Most people don't mind the sound, but a few do.  So, the easy fix is to fold up a hand towel and put it under your Hydro Floss.  This works great!  The sound 'loudness' comes right down.

Thank you for shopping at ToothyGrinsStore.com and we look forward to serving you more in the future as well.

Thank you Jackie for sharing your review with us.  Many people have discovered the benefits of having a Hydro Floss.

I like to give people a simple challenge:

2. Use the Hydro Floss for a month or more.

3. Have those pockets measured again.   Has there been an improvement?

That's how you can prove to yourself if it will work for you.

It's simple, It's elegant and it is something that everyone should know about.

Hydro Floss Use - Should I Use Tap Water or Purified Water?

I received this question today, and I thought I would share it and the answer in order to help other people understand reality from fiction.

Question:

I have been using the hydrofloss for years, but stopped bec. buying water for it became too expensive. understood that it was necessary to use purified water, which we did. now, excited to read on yr website that tap water is actually recommended. did something change, or did i have it wrong from the beginning? pls let me know ... was tap water always the right and recommended water to use w/the hydrofloss?

Answer:    Tap water has always been the correct water to use.   The magnet works off the minerals that are in the water.

HydroFloss Power In Your Hands

There are, perhaps, a couple things that most people want more of in their lives.   I think can often be summed up by two words:  Freedom and power.  Most people would like more freedom, in some form or fashion, than they currently have in their lives.    The second thing, I think, most people want is more power and control over their lives.

I think the HydroFloss does a pretty good job of helping on both fronts.

Example

Let's say, for example, that you have to pay for these really expensive treatments for your gums every few years.  Wouldn't it amount to greater freedom (financially) and more power (personally) to keep your gums healthy on your own?

I think so.   In fact, that is the reason why I share the Hydro Floss with so many people.

Let's face it, your dental health is precious.  There is no doubt about it.  If you don't have it, you will pay a lot of money to either get it back or compensate for the loss of it.   This can be costly, inconvenient and even painful.

Why not empower yourself now?  What if you could save money?  What if you could save time?  What if you could avoid the pain of expensive treatments and recovery?   What if a simple tool for under $100 could help you with that?

Will it work for everyone?  No, that would be impossible.  Will, it work for a lot of people?  I think so.   Will it work for you?   Will you take the time to find out?

Read More About The Power Of The Hydro Floss

Simple Plan To Prove Results

Many dental practitioners will use the gauge of ' periodontal pocket depths' to measure the health of your gums.  Generally speaking, anything over 3mm is considered unhealthy.

So, you simply find out what your readings are now.   Use the Hydro Floss (two reservoirs-twice per day) for a month or longer and go back and have your readings checked again.  Improvement?  There you go!

What Should You Do When You Have A Missing Tooth - Video Commentary

click here for the original page this video is about

Hopefully, you don't have any missing teeth.  But, if you do, the lesson in this video is clear.  Do not leave the gap where a tooth once was alone.

Something is needed there to keep the other teeth from shifting around.    Your dentist will help you with information and recommendation.

Implants in the US can be around $2,000 each.

Prevention Is The Best Answer

Saving yourself against tooth loss in the first place is probably the best answer to this problem.  We know that gum disease is the number one cause of tooth loss.

You may not be able to prevent an accident that causes tooth loss, but many times, you can stop or control gum disease and prevent it from taking one or more teeth.

While brushing and flossing are very important and must be continued, sometimes you need something more.

One tool that I have found to be very helpful (and many of my customers have too) is the Hydro Floss Oral Irrigator.

Lynne Highly Recommends The HydroFloss

This review is from a customer and was placed on our site on February 2013.  Newer reviews can be found at this link.

As you can see, Lynne is quite happy to be using the Hydro Floss.

She mentions that her friend recommended it to her.   She goes on to tell her special story about how the Hydro Floss helped her.

Finally, she rounds it out by saying that you will be surprised what this machine uncovers even after you think you mouth is clean from regular brushing and flossing.  (Many customers have made this same discovery).

When you think about it, if there is hidden debris, isn't it that much harder for the saliva to do its natural cleaning and rebuilding functions?    You would probably want any 'hidden' particles out of your mouth when it its time for bed or after eating a meal.    I'm just guessing you would want that, but it seems reasonable.  I know that I would like my mouth to be clean before bed so that I my saliva can do its natural job of rebuilding tooth enamel and killing bacteria.
