What Makes The Hydro Floss Special?

Answer:  The hydro floss has a special way to decrease the amount of tartar and plaque build up between your regular dental cleanings and checkups that seems to exceed the ability of other oral irrigators.

This was validated in two peer reviewed journal studies.   This means that the research was performed by professional researchers and the results passed  the scrutiny of 'peer review'.

Peer review means that other scientists and researches looked at the results and the methodology of the studies to insure that they were scientifically sound and that the conclusions were correctly reached.

The amount of reduction appears to exceed that of 'regular' irrigators by around 50%.  Therefore, you get superior results from the Hydro Floss.  This is why the Hydro Floss is special.

Stop Bleeding Gums

Bleeding gums are not a good sign.  If they bleed when you brush and floss, it could be a sign of gum disease.   You'll want your dentist or periodontist to verify what is wrong.  Most likely though, you have gum disease.

How Do  You Stop Bleeding Gums?

Some dentists recommend the Hydro Floss to their patients.   This is because they know that it can help you with your gum health.

For example:  Periodontal pockets (something your dentist measures) should not be above 3mm.  Generally speaking, most dental practitioners will say that your gums are unhealthy above 3mm.

On the flips side, generally speaking, most dental health practitioners will say that your gums are healthy when you get all of your periodontal readings around each tooth to 3mm and below.

Your Goal

Therefore, your goal is to get all of your periodontal pocket depths to 3mm and below - as measured by your dentist or hygienist.

While no answer can work 100% of the time for 100% of the people, it is possible to shrink those periodontal pockets.

What You can try is the Hydro Floss.

1. Get your dentist to take your  pocket depth readings now and have them put them on a chart for you.

2.  Use the Hydro Floss Effectively for at least a month.

3. Go back and have your dentist measure your pockets again.

Then you will know if the Hydro Floss is working for you.   Continue to use the Hydro Floss even if you do achieve the goal in order to keep your gums healthy at that point.

This is a great method because your dental health practitioner will monitor your results and let you know where you are at.  This takes all the guess work out!

10 Reasons To Own A HydroFloss

Check Out The  Hydro Floss

10 reasons to own a hydrofloss1. You like your teeth and you would like to maximize your chances of keeping them (or those that are left) for the rest of your life.

2.  Scaling and Root Planing (Deep Cleanings) Cost around $1500  for your whole mouth and you still have to recover after the anesthetic wears off.   In addition, they may need to be done again in a year or three. You would like to reduce your chances of having to deal with 'all that'.

3.  The cost of a single implant is usually about $2000 or more.   I once spoke to a man who told me he had just spent $26,000 on his "new" teeth.

4.  A single gum graft can run about $500 - $800 or more.

5. There is no substitute for your own, natural teeth.

6.  You simply cannot afford big dental bills.  Of course, you should always be under the care of a dentist and you should always go to your regular checkups and cleanings.   But what if it were possible to prevent the more expensive problems?

7.  Gum disease is the number one cause of tooth loss.

8.  75% of people have gum disease.  Brushing and flossing may not be enough to prevent it, because I'm pretty sure that  more than 25% of people brush and floss.

9.  You hate painful experiences that cost you money and time to recover.

10.  You love your family!  Because a single Hydro Floss can help everyone in the family!  Of course, everyone uses their own tip in that scenario.  The Hydro Floss comes with 4 and you can always get more rather inexpensively.

More HydroFloss Questions Answered

Question:

After reading more on your hydrofloss website, I am really anxious to buy one of these from you.

I read that Dr. Richard Schulze healed himself of having 9mm pockets in his gum tissue by using cayenne pepper with an oral irrigator, and brought them down to 3mm.  I am assuming he used a cayenne tincture.

It seems that somewhere in all of my research tonight I saw something about using only alcohol free medications with an oral irrigator.  Obviously a cayenne tincture contains alcohol.

Is it OK to use alcohol tinctures with the hydrofloss?  Does your Activ Oxygen compound contain alcohol?  Is using alcohol a no no with oral irrigation?  Finally, what about using myrrh or propolis with the hydrofloss?  Those are both resins and even the myrhh essential oil or myrrh tinctures leave a sticky resinous paste even on my glass of water.  I would think that unfortunately one wouldn't be able to use myrrh or propolis with the hydrofloss without gumming up the works, as it were.

I take it the coupon code a-per10 is still valid?  I am so excited! I just spent 1,075 dollars on scaling and root planing for the second time, and now they want me to come in four times a year at $130 each visit for deep cleaning.  I am already having to pay for the 1,075 dollars in four payments once a month on my credit card. Very unexpected and pretty much scuttled my plans for any vacation this summer.

Help!  Hopefully it's hydrofloss to the rescue!

Answer:

I am sorry to hear about your summer vacation being ruined.   That's sad.   $1,075  - That's a lot, isn't it?    You are lucky though, I believe the national average is around $1500  like this person in Kentucky.

The rule of thumb is not to put anything sticky or oily in your Hydro Floss.   I don't know about alcohol.  Alone,  it shouldn't be a problem.   But if the tincture is sticky, then it definitely should NOT be used.

If you use your Hydro Floss properly, you may get results without using anything extra.  If you try ten different things and your gums get healthy, how will you know which one worked and which one you need to keep using?

The Hydro Floss has worked for a lot of people, including myself.   If you find it is not working after using it properly, then you can think about adding other things.

The big Question you should have is:  How Do I Know What My Results Are?

You can guage your situation based on your periodontal pocket depth readings.  This will be taken by your dentist or hygienist.

Generally speaking, if you get them to 3mm or less, dental professionals will say your gums are healthy.

Therefore,  you vary what you do at home until you get those 3mm and below readings.

That's the general idea of how you can more or less objectively know what is going on.  This is more valuable to you than someone just saying it looks "good'  or "bad".

a-per10 is for the therabreath website.

Here is where you can find the Hydro Floss on our site.

There is no alcohol in the Aktiv-Oxigen Serum.    It is a Chlorine Dioxide compound for delivering oxygen.  The bad bacteria don't do well with oxygen.

I hope that answered everything for you?

If you have any further questions, give us a call at 1-888-586-6849.

* remember, you should always be under the care of your dentist or periodontist.  They can verify your results (or lack of results) for you through the periodontal pocket depth readings.   You should always get your regular cleanings and checkups.

The HydroFloss - A Dental Health Secret That Has Remained Hidden

When I first encountered the Hydro Floss, I was in a bit of dental health trouble.

hydrofloss secret to dental healthMy dentist kept insisting that I needed a Scaling and Root Planing Treatment.  When I heard what this 'deep cleaning' treatment was about, I was a little suspicious about the long term effects.

I didn't want to experience this process and wished to find another way.  I tried several different things.  Nothing worked, including advice given to me by the dentist.

Finally, I tried the Hydro Floss.  I used it quite a bit.    When I went back to the dentist, she and the hygienist were visibly shocked.

After looking in my mouth for a long time, the dentist finally said, "Whatever you are doing, keep it up.  You don't need that treatment any more."    I was delighted1

Later, I was a little bit irritated.  Why did the experts not tell me what would actually work to make my gums healthier?

Let's not say anything bad.  Instead, lets assume the reason was just pure ignorance,  just being truly unaware.

Since that time, I have found out that the Hydro Floss has helped a lot of other people.  I'm not the only one.   May not work for everyone.  Always be under the care of a dentist or periodontist.  They can verify the results or lack of for you.

This is one of the biggest dental health secrets that 'almost' no one is talking about.   I hope to see that change.

Batman Said To Robin: Do You Have A HydroFloss?

"Well, gosh golley Batman, doesn't everyone have a Hydro Floss"? Was Robin's answer.

"No", Batman said seriously,  not everyone knows what we do... "

And that my friends, spoken by two cartoon characters, sheds some light on the Hydro Floss.

It's a well kept secret.   Not many people know.   You should learn everything you can about this device because it can have a significant impact on your dental health.

See that last sentence?  That's what you call 'understatement'.

All I can tell you is that this powerful tool, when used properly, can really be a benefit.

HydroFloss Plus Tongue Scrapers Combo

hydrofloss tongue cleaners
You can now find a brand new HydroFloss plus three tongue scrapers in one bundled package here.

If you have been wondering what a Hydro Floss is and why it is important to you, I believe it is one of the most powerful tools you can utilize to help improve your dental health and avoid costly treatments.

The enemy is plaque, everyone probably knows that.  Brushing and flossing are very important and we should keep on doing them.  Yet, dental professionals know that a lot of people have either some or a lot of gum disease.

Therefore, wouldn't it be correct to say that something more is needed for many people?   That's where I think the Hydro Floss comes in.   You would use it in addition to your regular brushing and flossing.

But it is fairly easy and quick to use.   You can irrigate your mouth with one reservoir in about 2 minutes and ten seconds on the highest setting.

When the tissue is diseased, your gums will be tender and you will want to use a lower setting. My experience was that as my gums became healthier I was able to turn it up to the full setting!   My dentist verified that my gums where healthier and that I managed to escape a scaling and root planing treatment - also known as a 'deep cleaning'.

I was very happy.   The Hydro Floss has proven itself to be a helpful ally in this modern world of unhealthy foods and beverages.  You have to do something to tip the odds in favor of your dental health, at least I think so!

So, why not try out the Hydro Floss today.   See what it can do for you!

Scaling And Root Planing Costs In Kentucky

I just talked to a potential Hydro Floss user from Kentucky.   She mentioned that her husband had just been through a SRP  (Scaling And Root Planing) treatment.

I asked her about the costs.

$730 was out of pocket.   The insurance picked up 60% of the total cost.

She quickly calculated that the total expense was about $1530.

This is inline with what I vaguely remember reading in the past.   That the average cost for a full mouth SRP was right around $1600.    The costs could be expected to be slightly lower in Kentucky.

So, these numbers make complete sense.

-----

We talked about the Hydro Floss Oral Irrigator and periodontal pocket depths.    I've personally experienced a reduction in those periodontal pocket depths from using the HF and I have talked to many others about it too.

I'll be more than happy to have a no obligation discussion.  Not about sales, just conversation.  The purpose would be to help you find out if the Hydro Floss is something that would be useful to you or not.

I created a new public community for both Hydro Floss users and those interested in getting their questions answered about whether this is the right machine for them or not.

Yesterday, I had created a private community.   However, I have realized that it would probably be better to have a public one that would be easier for people to find and join.

HydroFloss Question My HydroFloss Doesn't Turn On. Do I Need A New One?

I received a call from a nice lady named Phyllis today and she had a question about her Hydro Floss.

HydroFloss Question : My HydroFloss Doesn't Turn On.  Do I Need A New One?

She asked me if she needs a New Hydro Floss.   I asked her what was wrong.  She said that it doesn't turn on.

Answer :

I asked her to take her Hydro Floss to another electrical outlet in another room.  She turned on the switch - and it worked!

If the fuse triggers on your bathroom outlet, this can happen.

So,  be sure to take it to another room and try it out before deciding it is broken.    Phyllis told me she has had hers for four years.  Maybe she will get even more use out of it.

She told me how much she likes it and how it really helps her to keep things clean!

HydroFloss Review - Keeps Gums Healthy And Clean

Hydro Floss Review Keeps Gums Healthy

Dana Writes (HydroFloss Review posted on January 5th 2013 to the site) :

" This is my second Hydro Floss. The first was purchased from my dentist in 1999. It worked great up to December 2012.  This is an amazing device that keeps my gums healthy and teeth clean. The only downside that I observed is that it's louder than my first unit."

Thanks for letting us know about your Hydro Floss Experience Dana.

I'm glad that you feel it is doing a great job for your dental health.

I would like to address the issue of the 'loudness'.   This is very easy to deal with.  Most people don't mind the sound, but a few do.  So, the easy fix is to fold up a hand towel and put it under your Hydro Floss.  This works great!  The sound 'loudness' comes right down.

Thank you for shopping at ToothyGrinsStore.com and we look forward to serving you more in the future as well.

That's how you can prove to yourself if it will work for you.

Dental Implant Doctor Gets An Implant and Wants a Hydro Floss Oral Irrigator

In this video I discuss a conversation I had with a customer who was also formerly and implant doctor.  She was getting an implant herself and called to get a Hydro Floss.

She knew much about the HydroFloss and told me that they would put their implant patients on the Hydro Floss after their implants were placed (after healing up of course - you wouldn't use one right away - that's for sure)

The key point is that I believe many implant doctors found that their patients responded to the implant better when they had a Hydro Floss to help protect the new implant.

There are problems that implants can have and therefore,  if I understand correctly, the hope would be that using the HydroFloss would help to prevent those problems.

Of course, they Hydro Floss is not 'only' for implant patients.  I have found it, in my personal experience,  to be very important to gaining and maintaining periodontal health.

Many of my customers love their HydroFloss and don't want to be without one for any period of time.

The HydroFloss - Just As Good As Her Dentist Predicted

Here is a Hydro Floss customer review from Linda:

Linda Writes

Linda writes:  "The Hydro Floss Oral Irrigator is just as good as our dentist predicted.  It cleans out particles that neither flossing or brushing can reach and is great for braces.   Toothy Grins provided very fast delivery....."

Thanks Linda

Thanks Linda for that nice review.   We aim to please.   But, I have to admit we are not always successful.   There are negative reviews too (not very many).

The Hydro Floss Really Works

And that is probably why many dentists and hygienists are recommending it.   This is a powerful tool that has helped to improve many people's dental health.    It can save you money!

For example.  It saved me from an expensive Scaling and Root Planing Treatment  (SRP).  In the US, these treatments are expensive.  They are not always so in other countries.    In any case, my dentist at that time, verified that I didn't need the treatment she had previously recommended.

That's How I Found Out

That's how I found out about the Hydro Floss and what it can do.   I know that  many other people could benefit from this machine and that is why I keep talking about it.

Love My HydroFloss

This review is from Jennifer from Virginia Beach.  She posted it to our site on March 22, 2013.

this is a customer review for the Hydro Floss Oral Irrigator - toothy grins store

Jennifer writes: "I love my new Oral Irrigator, this is my first time owning one, and I love it.  I have gum disease and for the first time, I feel like I'm doing something good for my gums everyday. "

Thanks for the review Jennifer.   As a gentle reminder to readers.  If you have gum disease be sure to be under the care of a periodontist (a dentist who specializes in gum disease) or dentist.   Read further to see how the Hydro Floss might help you with this problem and having your doctor verify your results.

Do You Have Gum Disease?

I'm sorry to report that MOST people have gum disease.  Many dental professionals say that about 75% or 3 out of every 4 people have gum disease - whether they know it or not.

For the purpose of this discussion, let's say that you DO know it.

How Can You Use the Hydro Floss To Get Results Verified By Your Dentist?

No one can say that one thing will work 100% of the time for 100% of the people.  But I can say with confidence that the Hydro Floss has helped a lot of people get their gums to a healthy state again.

There is an objective way to measure these results.  Periodontal pocket depths are a measure of the 'snugness' of your gums to the tooth.   How tightly to do they adhere?   This is a measurement that is taken with a periodontal probe.

Generally speaking, and of course you will be working with your doctor,  measurements at 3mm and below are considered good.   With gum disease you are going to have pocket depths that are higher than 3mms.

So, you simply use your Hydro Floss daily.   [ 2 reservoirs, twice per day] Then have your doctor measure your pockets again after a month or longer.   Headed in the right direction?  Great, keep going.

This is a great method because you will be working with your doctor and your doctor will be monitoring your situation.

Scheduled for An Expensive Treatment?

Ask your doctor if you can give the above a try first to see if your gums get better.

That's all there is too it.  You work with your doctor to get and verify your results.

Travel Hydro Floss

At the time of this writing there is no travel Hydro Floss.  There is currently only one Hydro Floss.

I bring this point up because I received a call today from a customer who really believed there is one.  But I can assure you as of June 4th 2013 there is no such animal.

We do have a portable oral irrigator - but it is not a Hydro Floss.   The one we carry is a panasonic.

We carry it for those who really want a portable irrigator that works from a batteries.

It's not going to be as good as the Hydro Floss, nor will it do as good of a job.

Traveling With Your Hydro Floss

I tell customers that they should consider the possibility of traveling with their Hydro Floss.   If you keep the original packaging that your Hydro Floss comes in, it is great for keeping your hydro floss safe during travel.

The original packaging encases the Hydro Floss in a nice styrofoam cushion.

You can read more about the Hydro Floss Here.
