This is a similar product but I have heard it is not the same as making your own from scratch with quality herbs.
The original Essiac formula, if I understand correctly, has four herbs in it:
1. Sheep Sorrel
2. Turkish Rhubarb
3. Slippery Elm Bark
4. Burdock Root
Legend has it that a Canadian nurse named Renee Caisse received this formula and learned how to make it from the Obijiway Indians.
One secret that may or may not be accurate is that you are supposed to add blood root to the formula. But you have to be very careful with blood root. The body cannot tolerate so much of it, particularly in the beginning. You should only do this under the guidance of a qualified physician.
Of course, you should always be under the care of a physician when dealing with something as serious as cancer. I'm just passing on some unvalidated information that I've heard from various unconfirmed sources.
Anyway, the FlorEssence formula does contain the above herbs but it appears that they have added some others of their own in. It's difficult to know what works and what doesn't especially when you go changing things around and trying to bottle them into a consumable product.
Anyway, you can check out Flor Essence here
Sincerely,
David Snape
