This video was taken of a the Germania statue commissioned around 1871 and finished in 1873.
The first stone was laid in 1871.
The main part of the statue signifies the rebuilding of the Germanic empire. The two lower statues are to represent peace and war respectively.
The German people have long ago turned away from any nationalistic tendencies and they do not have any special nationalistic feeling for this statue or any other.
Yet, it remains as part of history.
