A customer was wondering why many doctors are so stubborn and unwilling
to accept that some things outside of their range of knowledge
actually work.
I explained that many (but not all) are stuck in a certain paradigm
that they were taught in school and within their specific profession.
Rather than work on expanding that paradigm, many choose to dig
their heels in and defend the paradigm. That means anything
that doesn't fit their paradigm is somehow the enemy.
That's a shame because it is Really hard to make any breakthroughs in
learning, understanding and finally helping and teaching with that
mind set.
So, things go stagnate and limitations become restrictive.
