After reading more on your hydrofloss website, I am really anxious to buy one of these from you.
I read that Dr. Richard Schulze healed himself of having 9mm pockets in his gum tissue by using cayenne pepper with an oral irrigator, and brought them down to 3mm. I am assuming he used a cayenne tincture.
It seems that somewhere in all of my research tonight I saw something about using only alcohol free medications with an oral irrigator. Obviously a cayenne tincture contains alcohol.
Is it OK to use alcohol tinctures with the hydrofloss? Does your Activ Oxygen compound contain alcohol? Is using alcohol a no no with oral irrigation? Finally, what about using myrrh or propolis with the hydrofloss? Those are both resins and even the myrhh essential oil or myrrh tinctures leave a sticky resinous paste even on my glass of water. I would think that unfortunately one wouldn't be able to use myrrh or propolis with the hydrofloss without gumming up the works, as it were.
I take it the coupon code a-per10 is still valid? I am so excited! I just spent 1,075 dollars on scaling and root planing for the second time, and now they want me to come in four times a year at $130 each visit for deep cleaning. I am already having to pay for the 1,075 dollars in four payments once a month on my credit card. Very unexpected and pretty much scuttled my plans for any vacation this summer.
Help! Hopefully it's hydrofloss to the rescue!
Answer:
I am sorry to hear about your summer vacation being ruined. That's sad. $1,075 - That's a lot, isn't it? You are lucky though, I believe the national average is around $1500 like this person in Kentucky.
The rule of thumb is not to put anything sticky or oily in your Hydro Floss. I don't know about alcohol. Alone, it shouldn't be a problem. But if the tincture is sticky, then it definitely should NOT be used.
If you use your Hydro Floss properly, you may get results without using anything extra. If you try ten different things and your gums get healthy, how will you know which one worked and which one you need to keep using?
The Hydro Floss has worked for a lot of people, including myself. If you find it is not working after using it properly, then you can think about adding other things.
The big Question you should have is: How Do I Know What My Results Are?
You can guage your situation based on your periodontal pocket depth readings. This will be taken by your dentist or hygienist.
Generally speaking, if you get them to 3mm or less, dental professionals will say your gums are healthy.
Therefore, you vary what you do at home until you get those 3mm and below readings.
That's the general idea of how you can more or less objectively know what is going on. This is more valuable to you than someone just saying it looks "good' or "bad".
a-per10 is for the therabreath website.
Here is where you can find the Hydro Floss on our site.
There is no alcohol in the Aktiv-Oxigen Serum. It is a Chlorine Dioxide compound for delivering oxygen. The bad bacteria don't do well with oxygen.
I hope that answered everything for you?

* remember, you should always be under the care of your dentist or periodontist. They can verify your results (or lack of results) for you through the periodontal pocket depth readings. You should always get your regular cleanings and checkups.
Sincerely,
David Snape
