Problem: Volusion (ecommerce software provider) will only let you email your customers once-per-month. In addition, they charge you an additional $10 for every 500 subscribers.
Update: Looks like this was not functioning properly after all. Customer names were not being passed to through the interface. Aweber engineers are working on it.
This makes me wonder if there are no other volusion store owners using this method?
So, as you gain more customers, you will natural accrue more MONTHLY charges. So 500 customers doesn't just cost you $10.
Instead, it costs you $120 PER YEAR. Multiply that by an additional $120 per year every time you gain an additional 500 customers.
Therefore, you are practicicaly forced into a situation where you have to send your customers to entirely different service, such as aweber.

I haven't done this yet, but I wanted to post these instructions for other Volusion store owners so they have the opportunity to be in a better situation.
Competitors will definitely email their customers more often than once-per-month.
In addition, the extra charges are just a little bit too much.
