Afraid Of A Deep Cleaning Treatment At The Dentist's Office? - I Was

If you found out that you need a deep cleaning treatment, I can understand that you might be feeling a little frightened because I was too!  

Yes, I was told by my dentist that I needed a Scaling and Root Planing Treatment (SRP)  otherwise known as a 'deep cleaning'.  

My dentist said that there was nothing else that could help me.   Thank goodness, despite such a dour outlook, I found something that worked.  

She confirmed it herself.  She was definitely a little shocked as I could see the look on her face. 

The hygienist was also baffled as she had been the one to tell me that I if I didn't let them do the deep cleaning that I needed to sign a waiver that if I lost my teeth, it wasn't their fault.
