Best Toothpaste For Bad Breath

Why Oxygenated Toothpaste Is Best For Bad Breath

Oxygen can damage the kind of bacteria that cause bad breath and may be able to neutralize some of the smelly compounds they emit - such as Volatile Sulfur Compounds.

When you use oxygenated toothpaste, you are attacking the bad guys directly.   You are attacking the cause of the problem.    Most products do not contain oxygen.

This is why it might be that oxygenated toothpaste is the best choice for fighting bad breath.

Here is a specialized oxygenated toothpaste just made for fighting bad breath:

Charcoal Toothpaste

Charcoal In Toothpaste Is A Natural Ingredient

What charcoal does for us is satisfy that need or wish we have to stay closer to nature.  Natural often seems to be better from a common sense point of view.

Because charcoal is used and mentioned very often in natural health and healing literature, it just makes sense that it can be good for our teeth too.   Charcoal is often thought of as a cleaning and purifying item.

Natural oriented dentists sometimes have customers take activated charcoal to help protect them when mercury based fillings are being removed and replaced.   Of course, this is a very different use for charcoal, but it does demonstrate that charcoal has been used to play a protective role in more natural oriented health care.

Oxygen's Role In Nature And Healing

Oyxgen is great for getting rid of 'bad bacteria'.  It can also disrupt viruses and is nature's purifier.  For example,  that smell in the air after a storm is ozone, a compound derived from oxygen.   Oxygen is 02 chemically and ozone is 03.

Since oxygen is part of nature and has proven itself in many health related scenarios, such as bleach for disinfection, it makes sense that it might be beneficial in other ways too.   Perhaps it too, could be useful in your toothpaste?

You might have just considered that it would be cool to have oxygen and charcoal in the same toothpaste.    If so, you are not alone.

Fluoride Free Toothpaste

I'd like the mission of this page to be a place where people can share their thoughts about fluoride without being mean to each other.    If you agree with this mission, please share this page with others.  Comments both for and against may be left below...

Some people are against fluoride and some people are pro fluoride.

Their are scientists and experts who support both sides.

The arguments can seem confusing and bewildering.   Even some dentists, who were trained to be in favor of fluoride are against it.

So, how is the average person going to make sense out of it all?

I think, even if you have scientific credentials, you might have some trouble making sense out of all the competing studies.

It really comes down to a question:   What if the anti-fluoride people are right?

I mean it is your health that could be at stake.

On the other hand,  the pro fluoride people swear that fluoride is good for you teeth.

Again, confusion ensues.

Maybe, it is better to err on the side of caution?

Believe it or not, I don't take sides on the debate.   I just don't want to argue endlessly.

But I do believe each person should make their own choice.

On of my missions for this site is to provide people with Fluoride Free Toothpaste - IF they so chose to use it.   (we sell fluoridated toothpaste as well - so don't get mad at me!)

Non Fluoride Toothpaste And Super Soft Toothbrush Combo Set

There are just so many people now that don't want fluoride in their toothpaste.

Many dentists still push fluoride treatments on their patients.  It's even happened to me in the last couple of years.  Sometimes it is hard to say no.

Fluoride is known to be toxic to the human body.  I understand that some say that the fluoride in toothpaste is not a large amount.

However, I've personally run across fluoride toothpaste labels that warn you not to use the toothpaste more than two or three times a day.

You don't see such a warning on non fluoride toothpaste.   It makes me wonder.

Is fluoride safe to use in dental health products or not?

One concern is the size of the fluoride ion.  Those suckers are small.  That means they may be able to get into the bodies blood stream via the mouth simply by being absorbed by the tissues of the mouth.
Well, there are plenty on the pro fluoride side too.   I'm not trying to take sides or to argue for or against fluoride.  I'm just sharing some common sense thoughts and experiences.

To that end, here is a NON Fluoride toothpaste and super soft toothbrush combo pack:

You can find it here.    or, if you prefer,  amazon

Where Can You Buy Therabreath Toothpaste?

Where Can One Purchase Therabreath Toothpaste?

If you are looking for the original therabreath toothpaste, or periotherapy therabreath toothpaste, we have both on this website.

Oxygenated

Both are oxygenated.  Theoretically speaking, the 'bad' bacteria really hate oxygen.  I messes with
their basic life functions, ie. metabolism.

When this happens, the living environment, from the point of view of the 'bad' bacteria becomes much less tolerable.   You can imagine what happens next.

Most people don't want to live in an environment where the basic needs of life are either not meant or are hard to meet.  I can only guess that a similar problem would present itself to the bad bacteria.

Not About Theory

However, you may not care about how the toothpaste works.  You probably just want to know where you can get it.    You can find the original toothpaste here and the periotherapy here.    Happy shopping.
