What To Put In Your Hydro Floss

I get this question a lot.   The honest truth is that the Hydro Floss is powerful enough to do the job on it's own.    See: How To Use Your Hydro Floss Effectively.

Never the less there are still some who would like to know what to put in their Hydro Floss (besides water).     You can use 8 drops of Aktiv-Oxigen  or  a Thimbulful of Perio Therapy mouthwash.

They are both oxygenated and help to make your work with the Hydro Floss more powerful.

The bottom line goal for you, or what it should be, is to get your periodontal pocket depths - as measured by your hygienist or dentist - down to 3mms or below.

I suggest you try the Hydro Floss until your next visit.   If your pockets haven't made significant progress, then you may want to consider what to add to your HF.

But, if you are able to make your gums healthy, as verified by a dental professional, then you don't have to worry about what to put in your HF into the future.

If your periodontal pockets are already below or 3mms, then you only need to maintain at that point.
Continue to get your periodontal pocket readings on every visit to help you keep track of where you are at.

Sincerely,
David Snape
