  Is There An Alternative To A Deep Cleaning Treatment? 

Is there an alternative to deep cleaning?   I want to share my story with you and then you can make up your own mind.   

My Story

It all began sometime in 2005 if I remember correctly.  I was on my regular (every six months) visits to the dentist. 

They started telling me there was something wrong with my gums.   They said I had moderate gum disease and I needed to have a deep cleaning treatment!  This is also known as SRP or Scaling and Root Planing.  

When they described the procedure,  anesthetic and scraping under the gum line, I decided it didn't sound good.  

I started doing my own research on the topic.  I attempted to correct the problem on my own.  I tried oil pulling, essential oils, and various mouthwashes. 

Nothing seemed to help.   I would check back with the dentist every time I tried something, but to no avail.  Nothing was working. 

I wasn't sure what to do next.   I know I didn't want to get this treatment.   That's when I found the Hydro Floss

My Next Step

I thought it was strange that my dentist didn't know about this device or what it could do.  It was a nice alternative to a $1500 scaling and root planing treatment. 

I researched more about gum disease in general and I decided that others should know more about this problem.  The information about it and what can be done about it should be more accessible to the public.  

I wrote and published a book on the topic.  The name of the book is :  What You Should Know About Gum Disease - A Layman's Guide To Fighting Gum Disease.

Conclusion

A lot of people are having problems with their gum health.  Dental health professionals tell us that 75% of people have gum disease. 

I wanted to share what I learned with people and I wrote the book mentioned above.
