How To Clean Your Toothbrush With Ozone

Here is a great way to clean your toothbrush every morning.   Use ozonated water, in a papercup and ozonated for at least 10 minutes, and this can kill many of the bacteria on your toothbrush.

I bring this up because one customer told me that those ultaviolet devices for disinfecting are susceptible to mold.   That doesn't surprise me.   Ultraviolet light is supposed to be good for plants.  So, it seems that mold wouldn't mind it much either.

Anyway, you may have better luck using ozonated water to clean your toothbrush. 

Ozone is 5 times more powerful than molecular chlorine for killing bacteria, and viruses.  At a microscopic level, ozone has been seen blasting holes through bacteria cell membranes.  Interesting indeed! 

So, it seems likely that it will really help you to keep the levels of bacteria on your toothbrush to lower levels!  

Ozone has been used for a variety of medicinal purposes.

Ozone Uses For Dental Health

Using Home Made Ozone For Dental Health

We talked a little bit about ozone in a previous post.   There is even a free report on that page about home ozone uses.

But, I thought I would talk about two simple uses of ozone for dental health.

 

Cleaning Your ToothBrush

When you finish using your toothbrush you can soak it in a cup of ozonated water until the next use.  Just ozonate a small cup of water for about 10 minutes and put your toothbrush in it.  This should help to kill of any bacteria that linger behind.    This may also prevent you from reinfecting your mouth with bad breath causing bacteria.  

Mouthwash

Another use is making an ozonated (oxygenated) mouthwash.  You see, the bad bacteria just plain hate oxygen.   It often kills them or causes them to metabolize in a way that doesn't leave the acidic byproducts that cause us so many dental health problems.

Of course, safety is a concern when working with ozone.  Never breath it in.  And be sure to follow the directions that come with your  ozonator in order to make sure you are safe.

Other Therapies

There are a number of other uses for home ozone.  People use it for a variety of purposes.  I have heard a few stories from the people I have talked to in the last few years.

Ozone has strong antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal capabilities.   I won't say too much more.  But, I would venture to guess that you probably already know or could easily find the many uses that people have discovered for home ozonated oils and water.

The Power Of Ozone, Nature's Creation

If You Are A Fan Of Natural Healing Methods, You Have Probably Heard Of Ozone

Ozone has been around for a very long time.   It is one of nature's creations.    And A lot of people are aware of its history of use in alternative and natural treatments.
