Oral Irrigation With Sulcus Jet Tips

sulcus tip oral irrigation
These tips were designed for people who suffer from periodontal pocket depths ranging in the 5 - 6 mm range.

The pocket pal jet tips also serve this need as well.

Overall, it comes to a matter of preference.  I like the softer rubber tip on the pocket pals, but there are still people who prefer the sulcus tips.

These are both designed to fit the Hydro Floss Oral Irrigator.  They are NOT for other irrigators.  One customer thought they might fit another kind of irrigator, but I do not suggest trying that.   These are only for the Hydro Floss.

You can check out the sulcus tips here

How Do I Fix My Hydro Floss?

AnswerYou can find parts here.

hydro floss parts and repair kits
Hint:  You CAN scroll below the top picture and there IS more than one page of parts available.

I've received calls from people who couldn't find a part,  they did not realize there was another page.

This is for do-it-your-self types who are interested in either saving money or in the thrill of completing a project.

In either case you can get your genuine Hydro Floss Parts here.

Repair kits can be found here.

These parts are not copies or replicas, they are genuine parts for a genuine Hydro Floss.

If you are not that keen on taking one apart, there is always the option of getting a brand new Hydro Floss.

For the benefits derived for dental health.  The cost is nothing compared to the potential savings in hefty dental bills over the years.

The cost of an implant is usually over $2000 in the US.   A gum graft can be five or eight hundred dollars.

Scaling and root planing treatment?  About $1500 for the whole mouth in the US.

Of course, no one can guarantee results for 100% of the people, that would be impossible.

But you CAN measure these results according to the periodontal pocket depths taken from your dentist.   Read about properly using a Hydro Floss here.

Need a power converter for your Hydro Floss?  I suggest this one when traveling to 220V countries.

Hydro Floss Hose Assembly

This is the Hydro Floss hose assembly.   I typically caution people to not try to install this unless they have some degree of mechanical ability.    For example, car mechanics and engineers seem to do well with this part.

I have personally tried to replace it and I was unable to without causing further damage to the HF.  So, I really want people who have confidence in their skill to install this part to be the only people who will purchase it.

We say that up front and we don't take returns on this.   Therefore,  if you want to take a chance at repairing your HydroFloss with this part, the risk is on you.

We also do not provide any instructions whatsoever.   However, there was one man who wrote about how he repaired his in the customer reviews for this part.    This part can be found here.

If you are not sure or do not want to risk a self-repair I do suggest that you consider getting a new Hydro Floss which will come with a one year warranty.   You can find one here.

The cost of the Hydro Floss is such that it usually pays for itself extremely quickly.   When you consider the cost of an implant or dental surgery, prevention becomes very cost effective.   Perhaps you can spend thousands on implants, crowns and other repairs!

Common Reasons For The Hose To Break

It may sound strange but perhaps the most common reason for the hose to be damaged is due to someone setting a curling iron near it.

Another relatively common one is a cat's claw.  They can pierce the hose leaving it with a leak.

We offer this part for those who would like to make the repair and are capable of doing so.
