Do Not Put Anything Sticky In Your HydroFloss Oral Irrigator

No Sticky Formulas or Solutions In Your Hydro Floss!

*Note:  When you use your Hydro Floss properly, you really do not need to add things to the water.

don't put sticky things in your Hydro FlossJust yesterday I had a customer call with a broken reservoir.    I had a hunch.  I asked him, have you been using anything sticky.   He said, "No" at first.   But upon further discussion,  it was revealed that he was using a particularly popular herbal formula in his Hydro Floss.

This particular product is well known to cause the reservoir to stick to the base.  When this happens, the reservoir will break when attempting to remove it.

This was the problem for him.

I cannot publicly name this brand, but if you are concerned or worried, give me a call and I can tell you.  I just don't want to point to someone's product here on this blog.

As a stand alone mouthwash or treatment or whatever, it is fine to use.   Just don't put anything sticky in your Hydro Floss!

I feel sorry for this customer because it is the second one in a short period of time.   I once talked to a woman who broke four in a row this way.

A little knowledge goes a long way.   Share this with your friends.

The Hydrofloss Magnetic Oral Irrigator

Hydro Floss Magnetic Water Oral Irrigator

hydro floss magnetic water oral irrigator
The Hydro Floss is an amazing device that has the potential to really help you with your dental health.  How so?  Read on, because this will take a little while to explain thoroughly.

The Best Oral Irrigator

The hydrofloss is the best oral irrigator, bar none.  I know that is a bold statement to make, but there are a number of reasons why this is true.  A big part of that is the magnetic effect on minerals in water as they pass through your hydro floss.

If you want the oral irrigator that will do the most good for your dental health, then the Hydro Floss is the right choice.

Dentists and Hygienists Recommend It

magnetic, hydro floss whyThere are now many dentists and hygienist that recommend the hydro floss.  They can see that it creates good results for their patients.

Magnetic Oral Irrigator

hydrofloss magnetic oral irrigatorIf you were to hold a paper clip up to your Hydro Floss handle, you will find that there is a large cylindrical magnet there.   The size of this magnet is important.

There is a mathematical calculation regarding the effects of a magnet on minerals in water.    Therefore,  not just any size magnet will work for this purpose.   The people who make the Hydro Floss know this formula.

There used to be an imitation irrigator out there that had a much smaller magnet.  It is very unlikely that the smaller magnet had the same effect on the minerals that the larger magnet of the Hydro Floss has.    That might be one of the reasons that you don't hear much about it any more.

The manufacturers of other irrigator brands have either ignored or discounted the difference this magnet makes.   That is why they cannot produce the results that the Hydro Floss can.

However, the power of this magnetic has been studied and documented in the prestigious professional journal:  The Journal Of Clinical Periodontology.   This happened not just once, but two times.   The first time was in the May of 1993 edition and the second was in the April of 1998 edition.

I remember one person said that the studies are too old and therefore irrelevant.   I thought that was VERY strange.   If something WORKS, it works.  Why would it matter how long ago someone discovered that it actually worked?

Bottom line, these studies showed a significantly greater ability to reduce plaque and tartar build up between regular office cleanings and checkups.   Ho Hum, right?    Why is that important?   Read on.

This ability ranges between 40% - 50% better (give or take, I don't remember the exact numbers but you can find the Journal studies if you really want to.

Why Reducing Plaque and Tartar Is Important To Your Dental Health

to your dental health, reducing plaque and tartar is importantThis is something to pay attention to because a large portion of dental health problems stem from the build up of plaque and tartar (Calculus).   The 'bad' or anaerobic bacteria actually create plaque.   If it is not frequently disrupted it will turn into tartar or calculus.

As a side note, do you know that researchers have discovered that bacteria can transfer information across species?  They can actually teach each other how to resist antibiotics.  This is one of the biggest problems that modern medicine has trouble solving.

The purpose of building the plaque layer, which is also referred to as a biofilm  because it is created by living bacteria, is to shield themselves from oxygen.

When they are shielded from oxygen they are able to perform metabolism (living, breeding, sustaining and growing)  anaerobically (without oxygen).   They are able to rapidly reproduce when this biofilm is intact and completely formed.

With this special kind of anaerobic metabolism, there are acidic byproducts.   These byproducs (waste) are damaging to both your teeth and gum tissue.   They can breach enamel which starts the formation of cavities.   The acid can also destroy the bone and flesh supporting your teeth (gum disease.)

Gum disease IS something that MOST people have.  But that does not make it ok.   Professionals figure that about 75% of people have some gum disease right now.

Gum disease, unfortunately, is the number one reason people lose their teeth.   Equally unfortunately, people chalk lost teeth up to aging.  But without gum disease, those same teeth would probably NOT be lost.

How Does The Hydro Floss Help?

how can the Hydro floss help you? Remember earlier that I mentioned that the Hydro Floss has a much greater capacity to reduce plaque and tartar build up between your regular office visits?   This is how the Hydro Floss can help.  By keeping that buildup down to a minimum, you are essentially protecting your dental health.

Of course,  you should want the oral irrigator that is going to do the best job at that.  Why not?  This is the essence of protecting or improving your dental health!

How This All Started

how the hydrofloss got startedIt all started with a man who was told that he was going to lose his teeth.  Out of necessity, inventions are often born.   He happened to know a few things about magnets and he wondered if it could make a difference and possibly save his teeth.

It did.  That same dentist later told him he was out of danger.  That's how it all started and that was around 25 years ago.   The Hydro Floss has been around that long and yet not so many people have heard of it.

You Are Lucky To Find This Now

lucky to find thisI'm not kidding when I say you are lucky to find out about the HydroFloss  now.   If you are able to save even a single tooth over the course of your lifetime, then it is more than worth it.   In the US, a single implant can cost over $2000.   And for multiple lost teeth, you can imagine how the costs mount up.

I hope I have done a good job of helping you understand why the Hydro Floss is important to you personally.   Each new Hydro Floss comes with four color coded (different color) tips.  So one Hydro Floss can help a family of four.   And, you can also get additional tips, rather inexpensively - if you have.

Many Other Diseases Are Related To Gum Disease

gum disease is related to many other diseases somehowIt might just be that you will be protecting more than your dental health.  Researchers have found connections between gum disease and heart attacks, strokes, lung infections, mouth cancers, preterm, low birth weight babies and many more problems.

This is really just a modern day confirmation by researchers of ancient wisdom.  Wasn't it always common practice to check the mouth of a farm animal before buying it?   Those people instinctively understood that an unhealthy mouth was a bad sign in an animal.

Of course, human beings are not the same as animals in many regards.  But, frankly speaking, the gum disease problem seams to exist in many animals as well as human beings.

I hope it makes sense how protecting or improving your dental health now could help to protect you from other diseases later (or perhaps sooner).

As the author of the book:  What You Should Know About Gum Disease : A Layman's Guide To Fighting Gum Disease, I believe the Hydro Floss is one of the most powerful tools or products you can use in regards to your dental health.

Next, let's talk about how to use your Hydro Floss effectively and how to measure results without a lot of 'guess work'.

Using Your Hydro Floss Magnetic Water Irrigator Effectively.

using your hydro floss magnetic irrigator effectivelyAs I mentioned before, the Hydro Floss has a magnet that acts on the minerals that are in water.  Therefore, you need to be sure to use water that has minerals in it.

Basically, you can just use plain tap water.   You won't be drinking this water.  It will flow into your mouth and then out again.   If you really don't want to use tap water, you can use spring water.  It has minerals in it.

Don't use R/O or distilled water.   You can use them, but you will be losing the huge benefit of the magnetic effect on the minerals.   Basically, it would be the same as using a plain old ordinary irrigator.   Who wants that, right?

The best practice for using the Hydro Floss is to use two full reservoirs per use, twice per day.  If you do the math that is 4 full reservoirs per day.   Sound like a lot?   It's not!

On pressure setting 9, I can drain a full reservoir in about 2 minutes and 10 seconds.   That would be about 5 minutes i n the morning and 5 in the evening.  That's a really good deal when you are trying to improve or maintain your dental health!

I had a customer that thought that was going to be a lot.  After trying it out, here is what she had to say:

hydro floss magnetic oral irrigator

You see, it really is not bad at all.  You can do this and do it rather easily.

If your periodontal pocket depths (we'll talk more about this next) are all 3 mms and below, you may not need to do this full protocol.  Basically, whatever is able to maintain healthy periodontal pocketing is good enough.  That's a hint about what I'm going to say next.

I hope this section helped you to understand how to get the most out of your hydro floss oral irrigator.

Checking And Monitoring Your Results

checking and monitoring your hydrofloss resultsNothing under the sun will work 100% of the time for 100% of the people.  However, if you follow the 'effective use' section above, you will maximize your chances for success.  And It does seem to me after talking to many people and customers that the Hydro Floss is working for an awful lot of people.

That's the reason that I make it my top recommendation.   If I thought there was something that was able to help a greater amount of people with greater ease and simplicity, I would recommend that instead.  However, this is what I think is best.

How can you objectively measure your results.   This is one of the best insights you will find.  This is something that few hygienists or dentists take the time to teach their patients.  But, this one understanding can make a big difference to you.

Ready?   Their is a measurement called periodontal pocket depths.  This is one of the primary indicators, generally speaking, that dentist use to determine the health (or lack) of your gum tissues.  Generally speaking, 3mm and below is considered good or healthy.  Conversely,  above 3mm is generally considered a problem or 'unhealthy'.

Therefore, you goal is to get those periodontal pockets shrunk down to 3mm or below everywhere in your mouth - if possible.    If you don't know what those pocket depths are now, you can ask at your next visit.   Maybe using the Hydro Floss will make them smaller than they would have been otherwise.

If you already know what your readings were from your last visit, GREAT!  That's your baseline.  Simply use the Hydro Floss as described above for about a month and get them checked again.  You might be surprised at your improvement!

The great part about this is that this is a relatively objective measurement.  This is far better than having someone look at your mouth and tell 'it looks good' or 'it doesn't look good'.   The numbers give you something to shoot for and to measure your results against!   How liberating!

I hope this section has helped you to understand what your end goal is and how you can verify or measure your results.

Customer Reviews Of The Hydro Floss

Where Can I Find HydroFloss Customer Reviews?

Question:  Where Can I Find HydroFloss Customer Reviews?

Answer:  You can find quite a few real customer reviews about the Hydro Floss here.

About the Hydro Floss

hydrofloss customer reviews page. The Hydro Floss is one of the most powerful tools that you can use for your home dental care.   When used effectively,  you have a good chance to reduce your periodontal pocket depths.   This is a key indicator that many dental professionals use to determine whether you have gum disease or not.

Generally speaking, if your dentist or hygienist measures your periodontal pockets to be at 3mm or less, they will usually consider your gumd healthy at that point.  That would be great news to hear!

Conversely, if your periodontal pocket depths are above 3mm, generally speaking, your dental professional will likely consider your gums to be unhealthy.   Gum disease is a big problem that affects about 75% of people (according to many dental professionals).  That being the case, you wouldn't be alone in having a problem.

When you use your Hydro Floss properly, you give yourself the best chance to reduce those depths.  What you do at home, of course, is the most important aspect of your dental health.   We can only visit the dentist a few times per year.  But the daily struggle to gain or maintain dental health mostly occurs at home.

Therefore, what you do at home, really is the most critical.  Most dental professionals will agree with that.   Yes, they can help to clean up the plaque and tartar buildup that you failed to prevent,  but again, they can only do that a few times per year.   The rest, is up to you.

Proper use of your Hydro Floss will give you the maximal chance to reduce those pocket depths.   Nothing can work 100% of the time for 100% of the people.  But the proper use guidelines give you the best chance for the best results.

Fortunately,  the results can be measured by your dentist or hygienist.  This will give you the proof (or lack thereof) that the Hydro Floss is working for you.

Hydro Floss - Will You Make A Mess The First Time You Use It?

This question about the Hydro Floss  came to me via telephone yesterday.

Answer:

Yes, if you have never used a Hydro Floss before, or any other oral irrigator for that matter, you will likely make a mess the first time you use it.

I sure did.  I made a big mess with water squirting all over the place, including on the mirror and around the sink!

This is normal. It happens to most people.  It is a very typical thing to have happen.

Don't Worry!

This phase will pass rather quickly and you will be hydroflossing like a boss!   It resembles riding a bicycle.  You can read the instructions, and try to understand.

However, the reality of riding the bike is that you have to try it a few times and then you suddenly 'get it'.

It's the same with your Hydro Floss.

Pretty soon, you'll have it completely under control and it will be no problem at all.

The initial experience can be a bit discouraging.   Just get right back in there.

It shouldn't take very long and you will have everything under control and you will be enjoying the benefits of hydroflossing daily!

There will probably come a day when you will start to wonder how you ever went without your Hydro Floss.  Customers frequently tell me that they can brush and floss all they want.

But, as soon as they get their Hydro Floss out they find stuff in their mouth, stuck between teeth and in other places that regular brushing and flossing couldn't get.

When you really think about it, it is little wonder that people have dental health problems.

Perhaps with the Hydro Floss you will have a better chance of avoiding those expensive problems down the road!

How To Travel With Your Hydro Floss

What do you do when you are traveling and do not want to be without your Hydro Floss?

travle with your hydrofloss
This is a completely understandable question.   Many people I talk to do not want to be without their Hydro Floss for even a few days.   Based on what it has done for their dental health, I don't blame them one bit.

In fact, it is not hard to understand at all when you consider that for many people the Hydro Floss has saved them from very expensive treatments.

SRP

My personal experience is that it saved me from a SRP or scaling and root planing treatment. They tend to average somewhere around $1500 for the full mouth.  And when you read about them, they don't sound like fun.

Many people have to get them again in a few years anyway.  This cost can add up pretty quick.

Traveling With Your Hydro Floss

So, I digressed for a moment there.  Please forgive me.   Where were we?  Oh yes, how to travel with your Hydro Floss!

This tip came from a customer who has to travel a lot.   She told me that it is best to save the original box that the Hydro Floss comes in.   And use that to put your Hydro Floss in while traveling.  That's the way to travel with your HydroFloss.

Why Is This Tool So Important?

Getting back to my digression.   You see, the Hydro Floss seems to have helped a lot of people with their periodontal (gum) health.

What do I mean by "help"?  That's a great question with many facets.   The big question you should have is:  "How do you measure results effectively"?

Glad you asked that!   There is a specific measurement that seems to be related to periodontal or 'gum' health.

That measurement is called, "Periodontal pocket depths".   And it is your new best friend! Truly.

You see, generally speaking, most dental professionals will say that your gums are healthy when your pocket depths are at 3mm and below.

The corollary to that is: Generally speaking, most dental professionals will consider your gums to be unhealthy when those pockets are above 3mm.

So, that becomes your goal.   The Hydro Floss has helped a lot of people, including myself, shrink those pockets down.     How would you like to be the next?

Of course, it cannot be guaranteed to work for everyone.  Every human body is different and therefore, you cannot say that one thing will work for 100% of the people 100% of the time.   But there is a way to know if it is working for you as I stated above.

How To Get The Most Out Of Your Hydro Floss

The hydro floss will give you the optimal chance to get the best results if you use it a certain way.  This way is based on the amount or volume of water used each day.

Basically, the best practice is to use the Hydro Floss twice per day and two full reservoirs per use.   If you can do that, you will be giving yourself the best chance of success.

Does that sound like a lot to you?  To some people it does.  But I am about to tell you why it is not a lot!  So listen up!

I can drain two full reservoirs, including changing the water in between in under 5 minutes.  So under 5 minutes in the morning and under 5 at night?    Is that too much to ask for protecting or possibly improving your gum health?    I hope not, because it sounds like a really good deal to me!

How does that work?  I put the Hydro Flosser on the highest setting.  When I do that I can drain a full reservoir in about 2 minutes and 10 seconds - give or take a little.

Is Your Hydro Floss Working Properly?

This is also a great way to tell if your Hydro Floss is working properly.  You simply take the tip off, place the Hydro Floss handle  in the sink and then turn it up to full power.   Time it.  It should be around 2 minutes and 10 seconds.

If it is much more than that, it might be time for a new one.

More On Traveling With the Hydro Floss

So, if you plan on traveling in an airplane, train or car, simply use the box that `your hydro floss irrigator came in originally to protect it.    There is a nice styrofoam cushion inside the box and that will help to hold the hydro floss stable so that it isn't damaged by bouncing around a lot.

For example, if you were to just toss it in a 'normal' box, it might not survive the journey.  I recently had someone call me for a replacement and that is exactly what happened to hers.

That jostling around can have quite an impact.  She just put it between clothes in her luggage and wrapped it in a towel.  That just doesn't work.   So she ended up buying a new one.

Lesson, if you are going to travel, keep your original box.   There just isn't much better at protecting it.

I'm not saying that it cannot get broken or damaged that way.    It can.  It's just that the chances are a lot less.

Of course, buying a new one is still justified.  When you consider that losing just one single tooth can cost you a couple of thousand dollars (for an implant).  The cost of $98 for a new one is not bad at all.    You have to look at it that way.  Think about what it could be saving you from.

Power Converters

To be honest with you, North America is a bit behind the times.   The voltage system is a very inefficient 110 system.  Therefore, there is a lot of energy lost during travel from the production plant to your house.

When traveling outside of the US, you will run into many countries that use the 220 Volt system.  You cannot and must not plug your US Hydro Floss straight into a 220 system.   Do not buy an adaptor in that country you are visiting.

An adaptor is not good enough.  You need a power converter (transformer)  that will "step down" your voltage for you.  You will probably also need an adaptor.  But again, do NOT use the adaptor in a 220 country without a transformer!

This is where a lot of people go wrong.  So, please pay attention.  You won't be happy if your machine  burns up on your first trip!

Speaking of power converters, not all of them are good.  Some will not last very long.  This is the one I personally use.   And it has been working great, even when left plugged in for long periods of time!

Portable Irrigator

Of course,  if you really don't want to travel with your Hydro Floss, you can get a smaller compact irrigator.   But it won't be as good as your Hydro Floss and it won't have the magnetic capabilities that make the Hydro Floss so special.

Nothing will work as well as your Hydro Floss for keeping your gums healthy while traveling.  But if you must use a portable, irrigation is better than not doing any at all.

Essential Oils.

Another possibility to help you with your gum health while traveling is essential oils.  They come in small bottles that are easy to carry.  This oil blend was made specifically for dental health.

The bottle is small and it has a safety cap, so that it won't come off while in your pocket or luggage.   Essential oils are great but they are not a long term substitute for what your Hydro Floss can do.

Again, the proof is in the state of your periodontal pockets.   No one thing works for 100% of the people.  But even if you have to combine things to see what works best for you, it is possible for many people to achieve good results.

I've already spoken about how to objectively measure your results and therefore evaluate what you are doing on a daily basis.   If you can make those gums healthy again, you will be one happy camper, I assume so anyway.  Am I right about that?

Essential oils might be useful to you.  You can use them separately.  `It's better not to put anything sticky into your Hydro Floss.

Brushing While Traveling

When we travel,  we typically get excited about getting out and seeing new sights, hearing new sounds and smelling new smells (well maybe not always in the later case).    So one area we might hurry in is brushing our teeth.

I think people tend to brush harder and quicker when they are in a hurry.  So this is a good time to be reminded to brush slowly and gently.  Brushing gently is something that is very important.

The reason why is that brushing hard can damage gum tissue - even healthy gum tissue.   So, you want to always brush gently.

You see, the purpose of brushing is to disrupt plaque.  Plaque is a rather delicate biofilm.  It's not so tough and it is easy to disrupt.  The key is to consistently disrupt it daily.   And even multiple times per day.

Once the plaque layer is intact, the bacteria underneath are shielded from oxygen.  That is when they grow rapidly and secrete their awful toxins all over the place.  Those toxins are acidic and destroy gum tissue and dental enamel.

Therefore, the plaque is considered the enemy.  It starts to form again within a few minutes of being disrupted.

Therefore, disrupt that plaque daily.   If you want a really eye opener about brushing too hard, put some ear plugs in the next time you brush.  You will be surprised at what you hear!

Of course, you can use an electric toothbrush.    I prefer a manual for the most part.  But some people prefer electric.  Studies do show they tend to do a better job for most people.

Many of them have timers to make sure you are brushing long enough.   The same principle applies, there is no need to press that electric too hard against the gum tissue.

I know that the manufacturers often install cut off safety features if you press to hard.  But have you ever tested out how hard you have to press to get that thing to shut off?   It's not as sensitive as it probably should be.

Many Dental Professionals Are Now Recommending The Hydro Floss

Many dentist and hygienists recommend the Hydro Floss to their patients.  I know because people call to order one and say that too me.   It's not a surprise.  Those professionals can see the results.  They know that many people have gum disease.  They see it every day.

Speaking of that:  Did you know that about 75% of people have gum disease?   It's a serious problem.  Once you realize how serious it is, you might have the urge to take your Hydro Floss with you when you travel.

I don't like to be without mine and other people don't seem to either.   The power is in the magnet.  That is why the Hydro Floss is better than other irrigators.   If you hold a paper clip up to the hydro floss handle you will discover that there is a big long cylindrical magnet in there.

Does it make a difference?  You bet it does.   As I mentioned before, many dental professionals have been recommending the Hydro Floss to their patients.

The results have been published in the Journal of Clinical Periodontology.   This is a true, peer reviewed journal.   There have been two studies published on the Hydro Floss in this journal.  They both showed that the Hydro Floss able to reduce plaque and tartar build up between your regular dental cleanings better than irrigators that did not have a magnet installed.

This shows that the magnet makes a big difference.  This is also why you would want a Hydro Floss.   Keeping the original box, helps you to more effectively travel with your Hydro Floss.  While it does not remove the chances for damage, it does reduce those chances.

Stopping Your Gums From Bleeding When Brushing Or Flossing

Usually, this happens because of gum disease.

stop your gums from bleeding when brushing or flossing
Even so, you will want to get checked out by a dentist or periodontist to rule out other possibilities and you should always be under the care of one or the other as well.

The most likely cause is gum disease.  This is a problem that causes tooth loss.  It is the number one cause, in fact.

It is a problem that has been with mankind probably since we first came into existence.   Many animals suffer from this problem as well.

The Hydro Floss has helped a lot of people to improve the health of their gums.

Dental professionals would normally agree that what you do at home has the greatest impact on your dental health.  They cannot be with you every day to clean your teeth.

If normal brushing and flossing were enough, they would not tell us that 75% of people have gum disease.    Perhaps adding something additional to the daily routine will make a difference for you to?

Interesting HydroFloss Story

Customer Barbara King from North Carolina called today with an intriguing story about the Hydro Floss.

Hydro Floss intriguing story(She told me it was ok to use her name here or I would not normally do so.)

Here is the experience that she shared with me:

She said that she was having terrible lower jaw pain.  She said there was no pain in the upper jaw, just the lower one.

She said that a dentist told her to get a Hydro Floss  After she started using it, the terrible jaw pain went away.

Barbara suggested that it must be the magnet in the Hydro Floss .

Thank you Barbara for sharing this experience.

Of course, we cannot draw anything conclusive or make any statements based on this one experience.  But I thought it would be interesting to write about it.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was a relationship between the two.   But we don't really have a good way to test that out.

What Should You Use In Your Hydro Floss?

Question:  What Should You Use In Your Hydro Floss?

Answer:      I actually hear this question a lot.
should I use anything in my hydro floss?
Here is my take on it:

Use the Hydro Floss with regular tap water first.  Use it properly for about 30 days.

Then, find out if your periodontal pockets have shrunk to normal
levels or are shrinking to normal levels.

Why do I say it like this?

The reason is simple.  Let's say you buy a bunch of different mouthwashes, herbal remedies and other products, plus the Hydro Floss.

Your gums get healthy.    Then what do you do?  Do you keep buying all those products?   You are not sure which product or which combination is working for you.

Will you then be stuck buying all of those products continuously?

I think your best chances are with the Hydro Floss.  That's why I say try that first and then find out from your dentist or hygienist if those periodontal pockets have come down.  Then, you will have your answer.

If proper use of the Hydro Floss didn't do it for you, then we can talk about what else to add.  But I think the odds are pretty high, with proper use, that the Hydro Floss will become your new dental health best friend.

New HydroFloss Customer Speaks

hydro floss customer speaks
Today, a customer called because she had read my report on the Hydro Floss, which you can get here.

She was wondering what to do because she was always being told that she needed expensive treatments.

1. Two SRPs in the last 4 years.  She said they did nothing to change her periodontal pocket depths.  SRP treatments often cost $1500 but can cost more.  (in the US)

2.  Now she is being told she needs laser surgery  $5000

3. She was also told that she needed two teeth pulled and implants installed.  - another $5000

She felt that something wasn't quite right.

Note:  You should always be under the care of a dentist or periodontist.  But, you do have the right to go get a second or third opinion.  You also have the right to 'fire' your current dentist and get another one if that is what it takes.

So, anyway, she was reading about the Hydro Floss.

She understood the importance of the periodontal pocket depths and of getting those pocket depth readings down to 3mm or below.

No one can guarantee that it will work for every single person.   Nothing works 100% of the time for 100% of the people.

BUT:  You can find out relatively quickly if it will work for you.

How?

Use the Hydro Floss for a month.  Use it twice per day with two full reservoirs per use.

Then go back to your dentist to get your pocket depths measured again.   Have they gotten better?  Then perhaps you are headed in the right direction.

Have they all moved to 3mm or less?   Fantastic!  You did it.  Keep it up to help maintain your periodontal health.

Hopefully, your doctor or hygienist will be excited about your progress.   If they are not excited, you might consider getting a new one!    They should be very happy to see your gums get healthy again.

Generally speaking, most dental health professionals will consider your gums healthy, when you get those pockets to 3mm and below.

It's always important to keep getting your regular cleanings and check ups at your dentists office.  Keep on using your Hydro Floss.

She ended up going with the Hydro Floss and Pocket Pal combo that you can see here.
